WE are now booking our Spring Break Camps for 2012- Camp weeks this year are March 19-23 and March 26-30th. Our camps run monday-friday from 12-4 daily and cost $300 plus HST. Participants learn all aspects of horse care, horsemanship, safety and basic riding skills at the walk and trot on our safe well trained horses and ponies. We provide drinks and snacks daily! We are VERY proud to announce that our PPTRA therapy pony POPTART has won a prestigious award with the 2011 Candian HorseJournals’ Readers’ Choice Awards! She was chosen in the Equine Shining Star category for her contributions to creating a therapeutic riding program in the Delta and Surrey areas where none had previously existed! Congratulations to PopTart and the entire PPTRA team for their contributions to the community and improving the lives of all they serve!

Pony Pals Riding Stables and Pony Pals Therapeutic Riding Association are excited to announce a new era of excellence for the Pony Pals family!:-D

After 14 years at our current location, Pony Pals will be moving into a new customized state-of-the-art facility in the Spring of 2011.

We are so excited to be able to offer our clients and their horses the safest, most modern, greenest and beautiful facility design. The facility will now match the quality of care and services Pony Pals has always offered, in a fantastic scenic location with access to 20 miles of trails.

During this time of transition we will strive to have minimal distruption to services, and continue to offer the same high standards our clients are accustomed to.

 Keep checking back for continual updates on facility progress and the date of the Barn-Warming Party!

Pony Pals Riding Stables is pleased to announce that we were a winner at the 2010 Delta Chamber of Commerce’s  Hat’s Off to Excellence annual awards.  Our Pony Pals Therapeutic Riding Association ( a registered charity) was the winner in the Rising Star award category! We wish to extend a big thank you to all of our  volunteers, riders and families and support staff for making this possible! We also wish to thank The Delta Chamber of Commerce for hosting such a wonderful evening and our  category Sponsor, VanCity!

Winter has arrived at the farm with snowy trail rides and lots of red-nosed riders.  We are still on continual intake with both programs; PPTRA is the ONLY Mandated non-waitlisted program of it’s kind in the lower mainland!  With our heated viewing lounge, attached indoor and stabling you can ride in comfort regardless of the weather!

Under extreme weather conditions our riders had huge success at the Maple Ridge Equi-Sport Dog Days of   Summer Horseshow!  Competing in both the hunter and jumper arenas, our riders won a toal of 12 classes leading to two championships and three reserve championships! For many of these riders it was their first show competing with their mounts and all rode beautifully.

Big Congratulations go out to Madelyn and Billy, Jonathan and Springer, Katherine and Callie, Roechelle and Mojo, Taylor and Sophie, Chase and Hifi and Rachel and Rudy.

Big thanks go out to our supportive crew who made it all go so well! Look for the Pony Pals gang at a show near you!
