Pony Pals Riding Stables is once again be offering Summer Day Camps on select weeks of the summer in 2012! Our camps offer the safest and most comprehensive introduction to horsemanship and riding ! All camps beginners camps are half-day and operate from Monday to Friday for riders aged 6-15.

When:

 Mon-Friday of each week from 12-4

What will I do? :

All mounted lessons are an hour long every day.

Riders learn skills such as walking and trotting with control of the horse, and safety maneuvers.  

Each rider gets a size suitable horse/pony for the entire week so that a special friendship can be formed!.

Extras such as trail rides, bareback riding, games, pony decorating and a MINI-HORSESHOW at the end of each week create lasting memories.

Our friendly qualified instructors and gentle experienced horses and ponies will help your child make the most of their camp experience.

What do I need to bring?:

• Snacks, drinks, and certified riding helmets are provided by the stables
• All your child needs to bring is boots with a heel, comfortable pants, and a treat for his or her horse!

What will it cost?

Beginner Camp programs are $300 plus the HST. Payment is accepted by cash or Cheque.

Who can come to camp?

Anyone between the ages of 6 and 14 who loves horses and ponies- NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

These fun programs are always popular, so if you are interested in being part of it, sign up early to avoid disappointment. There are only 12 participants per camp so all children are well supervised.

Intermediate and Advanced Camps

For those with previous riding experience, we offer Intermediate & Advanced Camps. These camps run ALL DAY from 9am to 4pm daily and cover every aspect of equitation and horsemastership.  These groups ride twice a day, and the camps are horsemanship and riding goal oriented. Topics include: Dressage, Jumping, Show Preparation, First Aid for Horses, Hoof Care, Clipping and Braiding, Natural horsemanship exercises and much more!

These camps are coached by one of our master instructors, and students are given advanced horses and ponies to ride.

A $175 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking, the remainder payable on the first day of camp.
